Terrorism a Product of Ugly Society.

The recent dastardly Terror act in Mumbai 26/11/2008 demonstrates how vulnerable India has become to Terror attack. The Mumbai repeated Terror attack is due to result of ignorance of the Indian government and failure from intelligence authorities. India has repeatedly faced terror attacks in the last three decades and in the recent times almost two or three times in a year. Now this Mumbai attack is no different from the earlier ones except that the elite and affluent people from across the world were made the target and the place of target were prestigious five stars hotels.

The situation is something like “You see fights in the streets and decide to ignore it and only when the fights in the streets have started creeping in to your homes you become aware of the situation and start to repent on not mending the situation when the fights began in the streets”.

How can we tackle terrorism? There is a need to go the roots of terrorism and explore the cause for terrorism. Terrorism is a product of an ugly society. Ugly societies in certain countries are breeding hounds and these terrorists are at their free will and get support from the government and other external sources. These terrorist have access to latest weapons and get profound guerrilla training.

The situation is you have a cancer in your little finger and the cancer has become malignant. Either you have a choice to cut off your little finger or suffer the cancer spread to the rest of your organs or seek a possibility of curing the cancerous growth. Since our little finger is inclusive part of you, there are so many various options. Similarly if we make the inclusiveness with these terror groups we have a choice either to eliminate them or create an environment where we can have an open dialogue with them, nurture and bring in the necessary transformation and change their attitude towards destruction.

People around the world have just been reacting to terrorism without responding properly. By response I do not mean a war or killing innocent people. United Nations needs to collaborate with the individual political head and come up with a strategy to resolve and counter terrorism. The immediate steps are leaders around the world need to wake up and cut the roots of the support for these terror organizations. The terror outfit camp should be destroyed. There is a definite need to talk to these terror group organizations and counsel them and refrain them from creating further damage. There needs to be an independent Anti-Terrorism group established internationally to support countries in eliminating and tackling terrorism. Especially in India there is a need to bring in reforms, Anti-Terrorism body and Anti-Terrorism policy created to protect lives of citizens and every civilian in our country.

Humans can either be creative or destructive just like how the creation is in the cosmos. There is a definite imbalance in the world and confusion among these terror seeking people. If human nature is unpleasant the result is only towards self destruction. If humans become truly joyful then they spread the joy and the people around the world will begin to see the transformation.

Around the world there is a need to invest in Human inner-wellbeing. People need to become truly spiritual and experience joyfulness and blissfulness. The current belief system in the world is not helping humans to seek liberation and experience inner well-being. It is high time that humans start looking inwards and strive to bring in the transformation around the world to make this place a joyous place to live.

Driving and Managing Change and Innovation.

We are born as a human being in this planet and change is inevitable. Right from the primitive age humans have undergone change in all aspect of life. We humans aspire more than just the process of survival. Over centuries science and technology have brought in a tremendous change in our life style. We humans constantly seek change and strive to achieve the best. The constant change and transformation in the science and technology has brought in a sense of external well-being.

Change means shift from status quo. As per Webster’s dictionary – “Change” involves alteration / modification / transformation / transition / substitution or plain variance. As Humans we have only two options: Either Change governs us or we govern Change. As per Wikipedia: Change management is a structured approach to change in individuals, teams, organizations and societies that enables the transition from a current state to a desired future state As per Mahatma Gandhi “You must be the change you wish to see in this world ”

Due to the global warming impact, the resulting change in the biosphere is affecting the very process of survival of humans. There is an immediate need to mitigate the effect of global warming on a war footing aggressive mode of action. Al Gore the former Vice president of United States who is currently championing the effort of global warming mentions “He has toured the World around and has spread the awareness of the impact of global warming but he was not able to bring in the change in the people mindset to bring in the necessary action to mitigate the change”. Al Gore dilemma was how to bring the change in form of immediate reactive action.

In Corporate world there are three dimensions to Change Management: As an INDIVIDUAL; As a LEADER; As an ORGANIZATION. Change disturbs the status quo and it affects different people in a team differently- the key is to handle that “professionally”. There is a constant need to manage and drive change and Senior Management looks for leaders to effectively manage and drive the change. One can drive change either Proactive or Reactive. As per my perception proactive change involves planning, preparing and implementing the change; Reactive change involves driving change involuntarily without proper strategy and planning to bring in the effect desired.

IT industries have been affected due to the recession in US. Now there is a need to maintain the operating margin and raise the profit level to meet the numbers and stay put with the competitors. The comfort level position maintained earlier has now changed in to grave level position. There is need to revamp the strategy and plan the investment properly. Senior Management is looking at every investment, opportunity with a microscope. Either the change can be proactive or reactive. Individuals as leaders drive the change that affects the whole organization. Individual has to change to bring in the change effectively. Corporate Guru’s vision is to bring the necessary innovation to survive the bitter competition. Innovation requires change. There is a constant need to raise the bar of each individual.

We have brought in the change externally and this brought in a tremendous comfort and luxury which mankind has not seen every before. Still we see people feel so miserable. We have not taken time to look inwards or bring in the necessary transformation. I can only talk about my experience. My experience with Yoga kriyas practices have brought in a tremendous change and the way I look and perceive life has changed. There is a definite clarity of perception. I feel so energetic and joyous. I do not need an external stimulus. I was a rare social drinker and to feel pleasant I used to have one or two pegs of Single Malt Scotch Whiskey and my preference was German beer. Now I do not need any of the above stimulants and feel like they are like country drink. One does not need an ecstasy drug to feel high. If we know how to channel and balance our life energies (Prana) there are enough Cannabis receptors (OJAS) in our human body to transform ourselves in joyous beings. Individual transformation results in others being transformed and if each one of us undergoes the inner transformation the world will change quickly in to a joyous and loving people in this planet. To bring in a change one has to create the possibility. One has to begin the journey and experience the state of being joyous without the need for any external stimulus.

The lady with the Bindi (Dot) on her forehead.

In Indian culture it is common for girls, ladies to have the Bindi or dot on her forehead. The tradition has been followed over centuries. Is this a religious symbol or a cult? Now in India spirituality was explored and experienced in a big way. The spirituality became organized in form of religious process and ritual over time. The method was lost somewhere and the process and ritual has become meaningless or obsolete.

Now born in this culture I was always intrigued by the ritual and practices. However the Bindi has caught my attention and was curious to know on the significance. I have observed that a lady looks more appealing and her looks enhances if she adorned a Bindi in the middle of her forehead, the spot where the eyebrows meet (also referred to as the third eye).

In my family my wife and daughter has the Bindi adorned all time and with out the Bindi their look seems to be out of place or out of focus. I once glanced a magazine and the jewellery advertisement picture of Katrina Kaif in a Sari with jewels and a small Bindi in middle of her eyebrows. She just looked so stunningly beautiful. The bindi made the difference.

The shape of the Bindi round, oval, small, big is also a factor and each shape and size has the right fit for the person depending on her facial size and complexion.

Later I realized in our Yogic lore, the middle of the eyebrow is the point where the Ajna Chakra is located. If our energies reach the peak of Agna chakra we experience everything in the existence as one and attaining the energies in the Agna Chakra is beginning state of enlightenment.

The bindi is very significant and is not a symbol representation of Hindu, though has roots from the culture of Indus valley civilization. The bindi uplifts the image of the person and signifies the femine Shakti the very source of creation. There is a whole science behind this tradition of adorning a bindi. The western initially ignored and dismissed this and there were cases of Dot busters in US due to radical religious conflict.

Now the bindi has become fashionable among the west and Hollywood. Few conscious ladies from other religious culture are still reluctant to try it due to having pre-conceived notion of associating bindi with tradition of Hindu religion.

It is time the bindi gets the attention around the world and women lore freely adorns the bindi an ornament to enhance the inner beauty or self.

Privacy – Is it every human birth right?

Privacy is a requirement of your own space with the need to be with oneself. It is an individual freedom and choice to exercise discretion. It is way of being in solitude, seclusion, isolation, confidentiality and secrecy.

I would like to share my perception on the need for privacy. Every individual including me needs that little space of privacy which we all cherish. When it comes to individual what is this privacy and why we human feel the need for that little privacy?

Privacy is looked upon very seriously in the western countries. People value their individual privacy and they respect others privacy too. There are privacy laws created and supported in the constitution of these western countries to protect each individual against invasion of privacy. There are loopholes in any system and media folks tend to deviate. The privacy is respected among the family members and each spouse and family member is allowed their right to have their privacy. The kids have their own room with their own space or privacy. You can very much notice how the western celebrities are so disturbed by the media and paparazzi and how they react so badly to invasion of privacy. In work culture one need to knock at the colleague or boss cabin before one walks in. One needs to maintain the distance between two people and just talk business and ask no personal questions or become friendly immediately like we do in India.
In India the ancient culture taught us to be in communion, oneness and due to the fabric of joint family structure the need of privacy was restricted. Everyone wants to know what the other person is doing and so on. Even today you see your neighbor has all the details of you except for the personal details which you did not share. Our culture is to be in communion and it has its own pros and cons. The scenario is changing and people have understood the need for individual privacy and so on.

Our Human nature is dual in nature. One nature is towards self preservation and the tendency is to bind ourselves physically and create boundaries and the other nature is towards self liberation and the tendency is to liberate and expand our boundaries towards unboundedness and oneness.

Our Human nature is such that we are natural seekers and have the capability to go beyond the physical and experience life in fullness. In actual we are so much caught and mauled in the trap of dualities of life. In physical realm we do not get enough private time to be with ourselves.
Due to lack of quality time being in moments of privacy we are caught up in to the madness of so many activities and have entangled ourselves in the process of life rather than involved in the process of life by enjoying every moment of life and being in a state of content, joyous and blissful.

My take on Privacy with individuals is, if they get enough time to look inwards, meditate and manage their own self they tend to be relaxed and learn to accept life as it comes and need for creating boundaries and seclusion decreases. We tend to open up and learn to be in communion. We are all humans and we all face more or less the same problems in life and we all have the same goal of becoming happy and joyous.

As Human being we have the same form of energies but every human is unique in nature. Due to unique intensity in each one of us we operate at different levels of ego states. The truth is we are all one and have one non-being state of ego. If we all reach the peak of human consciousness or state of no mind or non-being, non-dual state we experience everything as one.

Life exists in only in dualities of nature and as a result we humans exhibit different levels of ego state and every human being needs that little privacy and that little space to be with own self, meditate, conserve and recharge and carry on life joyfully and blissfully.

10 wish list / must do things in ones life time

I have applied my thought process based on my liking and interest, put down the 10 best things to do or become in ones life time. My theme is based on enjoying life, having fun and also helping and transforming others. Readers can provide their own interest and liking and add to the 10 best things they feel they like.

1) Becoming Rich is important but not the ultimate goal: Yes in Life we need money for survival process and to seek luxury, comfort, security and better future for our children. It is not the ultimate goal. Do not chase money for happiness; seek happiness and happiness happens within from inner fulfillment and not from external fulfillment.
2) Being Joyous every moment of life: Check every day how many moments has one experienced Joy and happiness. Do you think Joy and happiness comes from external fulfillment. Joy and Happiness comes within and is truly based on inner fulfillment. Inner fulfillment can happen via inner transformation. Inner transformation can only happen through spiritual attainment and Yoga (being in a state of Union) is one of the methods of becoming joyous.
3) Become a volunteer: Volunteer is required and volunteering should come naturally. Volunteer is like offering yourself completely. There are enough issues that need to be resolved. Human well-fare, Environmental action, Rural education for poor, Medical care for poor and needy, Food for under nourished children, Population control etc… Each one of us including home maker can contribute at least by working one day in one month - one weekend day for such causes.
4) Take a long long vacation: How many of us have taken vacation for at least stretch of 7 days. Now we have copied it from the US folks and have started taking seven days of vacation. In Europe people take one month of vacation. I suggest one should take 3 to 6 months of vacation once in 5 years. Question arises who will pay our bills and so forth. See how entangled we have become with life. Life is freedom and we are not enjoying our freedom but have got entangled in the process of life instead of being involved with the process of life.
5) Places to Travel:
a) Around India and around the world. Exotic places like beaches of Hawaii, Caribbean, Australia, Switzerland, Europe, Asia, and Middle East etc.
b) North Pole and South Pole.
c) Must Cruise to Hawaii, Caribbean and Alaska.
d) Sports vacation like golf, tennis, basketball, volleyball retreats.
e) Space travel to one of the space station and experience the zero gravity.
f) Pilimgrage trek to Himalayas, Kailash, Mansorovar at Tibet and powerful energy centric places and archaeological importance around the world. One should go with a group of people who are meditators as it enhances the experience of such places and one should get a feeling of spiritual awakening rather than just being in a picnic.
g) Nakation or cloth free vacation, Bare necessities cruise or Al natural clothing optional beach. Not the wild kind but the spiritual kind. There is no “ism” but just spiritual experience. Life is freedom and we are suffering our freedom rather than enjoying our freedom.

6) Skiing / Skydiving / Bungee jumping / Snorkelling / Scuba diving: Skiing in the high snowy mountains is one thrill and fun. One should experience Skydiving and smooth landing with Parachute in open barren land. Bungee jumping is another thrill for fit and courageous people. Snorkelling and Scuba diving are fun activities as long as there is no Shark around. I once had a snorkeling experience in Bahamas in crystal clear waters and it was great joy to be under water and experience the corals, fish and undersea creatures. Scuba diving is also fun to adventure under water.
Stress Buster: Cake throwing: In my childhood I saw one Hindi movie where the group of college students lock a room and throw cake at each other face. I was so exited about this and want to experience this cake throwing game. If everyone is protected with safety glass and if we can indulge in playing one of the above game it will be real fun. Cake throwing can be organized with people whom you have grudge and want to express your love for them.

7) Dance and Music: Dance and Music are the very essence of life. Learn Salsa or Bharatnatyam or Bollywood dance or any dance of your liking and dance to your heart out. Music is also very important to nurture ones spirit. Listening to Music is one hobby but if one takes passion in singing or learning any of the musical instruments like guitar, violin, keyboard, piano, flute, drums etc it would definitely help in bringing colour and vigour in ones life.
Give a Big Hug: One should be open to give a big hug to anyone who request or needs one. There is no sexuality discrimination and one should be open to hug anyone irrespective of age, sex or any discrimination. Humans are just another piece of life in the planet and one has to experience life as life.

8) Seeking a Guru: There is a saying that Guru finds you. There are many gurus, spiritual, guardian, close friend or someone who has helped one to reach the ultimate in life. Guru is of utmost importance. If one is in the spiritual path, a Guru is one who provides the necessary road map, tools and technique to raise ones energy to peak of attaining enlightenment or becoming blissful.

9) Becoming Spiritual: Attaining the spiritual path is experiencing the subtler and non-physical dimensions of life. Being in a state of Yoga (union) is experiencing everything in existence as one. Now yogic practices and process helps one to become blissful, joyous and experience higher dimensions of life and it leads to inner transformation.

10) Being an important and recognized person: I am not talking about becoming a famous personality or celebrity. One should strive others to live in your compassion rather than you living in the compassion of others. If only one has attained the state of blissfulness one will be in a position to have people striving to seek compassion in our self. If one is joyous and blissful one can transform others to become Joyous and Blissful. Inner transformation is very much the slogan around the world. The people around the world need to become joyous and blissful and this can only happen through individual inner transformation.

China’s immoral conquest of Tibet

China has laid an immoral claim on Tibet. Masculinity leads to conquest and only when the Feminine finds expression does civilization begin. If one is on the path of spirituality one has to experience the subtler feminine dimensions of life. Only when one experiences the subtler feminine form one will be in a position to transcend life beyond the physical and become spiritual. Spirituality is the possibility that makes you transcend life and look beyond the physical dimensions and experience the subtler and non-physical dimensions of life.

It is so sad that the ignorance of the Indian Government resulted in Tibet being an independent country. Mount Kailash and Mansarovar were very much a part of India. History mentions that many enlightened beings experienced a miraculous transformation in this land of Tibet. The spiritual culture in Tibet in form of Buddhist teachings emerged from the spiritual experience and a lot of spiritual knowledge gained from it. It took shape in the form of teachings and preaching of Buddhist lore. The Dalai Lamas from 7 to 8 generations with followers explored spirituality in its ultimate possibility. The works in Potala Palace speaks for themselves.
Everyone is aware of the history of how Tibet was invaded and attacked by earlier Chinese conquerors and how the Dalai Lama of that period with his little army fought the conquerors and sent them reeling for life.

If you look back one to two hundred years, killing a woman in China was not a crime, but killing a man was. Over the past 100 years, the barbaric rulers who knew very little of spiritual process had a pre-conceived notion that these spiritual monks were non-productive and useless and they put them to miserable deaths. There were real stories of monks who were put in a dark prison with hardly a space even to stretch and food would be served once a week. These monks learnt the art of leaving their physical body in awareness and if they did not eat the food that was served it was assumed that they left their bodies in Samadhi or Awareness.

It seems that there is not much of inner transformation that has happened in the mindset of these Chinese rulers and they are still barbaric in nature. Humanity has yet to flower in most of the human civilization and this inner transformation through self-realization has to happen to key rulers and politicians through out the world.

The present Dalai Lama has become helpless and it was kind of India to have given shelter to Dalai Lama. Dalai Lama is in his own self-realization and needs the support from the world. On one side there is a Chinese aggression to conquer Tibet and on the other there is an injustice done to Dalai Lama. The Chinese government is foolish in blaming Dalai Lama for the violence and unrest in Tibet. At the same time some of the Dalai Lama followers are not really helping solving in the problem. If the followers can take the peaceful, Satyagraha (Non-violence) approach it would be very helpful to the Dalai Lama regime as it tries to move towards recovery.
The Chinese government claims that the Tibet issue is their internal affair. How can an injustice to Dalai Lama regime are seen as an internal affair. The Chinese Government has secretly built the railway line to Lhasa the capital of Tibet. It has also been repeatedly requesting Dalai Lama to take back his slogan of Independent Tibet. Dalai Lama should be shrewd enough to handle this situation in a way that it is a win-win situation for both the parties. India should also look at this great opportunity of jointly having control of Tibet.

If only there are wise people on this planet who can solve the Tibet misery without violence. This is a great opportunity for India, China and Dalai Lama. There is an opportunity for a peaceful solution and a treaty can be worked on between China, Dalai Lama and India.
Chinese and Indian entrepreneurs can jointly develop the infrastructure with the Green Technology and improve Tibet’s economy. The Indian Government can convince the Dalai Lama to restrict his autonomy to Potala palace, Mount Kailash and Mansarovar for spiritual upbringing. Many Spiritual leaders from around the world can unite with Dalai Lama and work together to create a world full of inner peace and joy.

The Joy of Volunteering

Volunteering is a wonderful experience of offering oneself. Volunteering selflessly can happen out of pure devotion. As a volunteer one is not identified with oneself and offers oneself completely. I began to volunteer during the yoga programs conducted by my Guru and the volunteering began as a means to create the spiritual possibility to the participants. Volunteering was just giving oneself to a process of seeking. It is also like being in a Satsang or being in communion.

Volunteering is a joyous process of longing to go beyond all boundaries. There are many people around the world who are affluent, and due to state of well-being have automatically attained the Sadhana of devotion. These people offer themselves to social service completely and not identified with themselves. Many of these devoted folks have started NGOs, Charity institutions, Social service, Red Cross, Christian volunteers, Volunteers from the various Ashrams in India and around the world. All these volunteers are a great strength to the society. These volunteers can change the world and make this world a peaceful place.

All Volunteers needs to unite and work for a common cause. The world is in dire needs of volunteers who can work towards mitigating the Global warming effect and prevent this planet from total disaster. There is a whole magnitude of poor people who do not even have access to one meal. There are children around the world who are under-nourished and need help.

If the world can unite and have one community service and work under the empowered leadership it would eliminate poverty and create a possibility for well being and prosperity around the world. To be truly joyous one has to become meditative and only if one is able to manage one’s inner situation there is a possibility of becoming joyous forever and of creating the same possibility for everyone.

Humans living a life of limitation rather than a possibility

Humans are living a life of limitation rather than a possibility. Humans have been blessed with the ability to understand this creation and experience this creation as the creator himself. Humans have the ability to go beyond the five senses and experience life in a big way. Human mind has always been in a state of doing rather than a state of being. We have to learn to cease current state of mind and make the union with the existence. Patanjali first sutra is about “Now Union Yoga” by ceasing our mind in to being meditative. We are all living in a life of ignorance and disparity. We are too identified by our selves and our identity and discrimination has bought a great misery to mankind. The lifetime of humans are wasted in just eating, sleeping and reproducing. Even Pigs are very good in these activities. Beyond our five senses we have not experienced life in fullness. Let us look back and see what we have achieved in the past 1000 years. We have put our mind in a state of doing and destroyed the flora and fauna of nature around us. We are advancing in the science and technology and this has brought in a comfort and external wellbeing and no other generations earlier had such comforts and luxury. There is a whole science of inner management and Yoga is the technology to bring in the inner transformation and to experience life in fullness and blissfulness. Yoga literal meaning is union. There are four methods of attaining Yoga. Karma Yoga by selfless action, Bhakti Yoga by devotion, love, Gyana yoga by using our intelligence and Kriya yoga by transforming our energies. Practicing only one form of yoga can take you there but if we have mastery on all four we can become a complete enlightened being.

I would like to share my thoughts on my perception of the current happenings around the world and how we can bring in the transformation if we take the right step.

Environmental pollution:
We humans are in a state of doing and have taken a toll of the environment and this has resulted in an almost irreversible state of our ecosystem. We have to work hard and mend our ways and if we do the right thing now, we might get the eco balance in say 50 years from now. We are not even there and there is no plan of action. Scientist are screaming of Green house effect and global warming and only less than 0.001 percent of people are involved seriously in doing something about this calamity. We have to change this quickly and bring in the awareness of environmental pollution and have atleast 2 % of the people working globally on the bringing in the transformation of the environment and save this planet from extinction. The areas that need immediate attention are of Air, Water pollution, Waste management. We have to stop destroying forest and trees, plant more saplings, convert all commercial vehicles with LPG, improve infrastructure, drainage system, and encourage organic farming.

Devotion as the path of transformation and religion around the world.

Devotion is just one way attaining union or being in yoga. Enlightened gurus have been endorsing that just the path of Devotion can take you attain yoga. All religions are predominantly trying to follow the path of devotion.

Christianity is also embracing devotion through their regular Mass on Sundays and promoting cultural activities and fostering peace and love. Church was a social organization that culminated in to a practice of a belief system of attaining Christianity which is the same as attaining union or being in yoga. It was unfortunate for Jesus to be crucified. Jesus had the potential to transform people and not convert people like the Christian community are going on endlessly doing. They did not have the possibility of experiencing the inner science. Pope in its recent comment dismissed the possibility of human physical evolution from lower forms of beings and dismissed science as being narrow. Pope is right in his perception and there is an acceptance in his view of life. He has a right to have his own hypothesis. The narrowness is not in the science but in our own self of not being aware of the existence. How can we dismiss science and the power of the inner science that our culture in India experienced 40 to 50 thousand years back? Our culture has experienced life in tremendous possibilities. Even Buddha in his meditation has described the various human form and animal form from his past life. There is a cream of people around the world who were by birth born in an affluent well to do or rich families and due to certain good social situations, some of them have attained the Sadhana of devotion automatically irrespective of them being ascribed to any religion. They started propagating their sadhana in form of a separate religion of belief system rather than experience of life which has bought the misery around the world. Even the president of America belonging to the Republican Party belongs to Christian faith and is propagating war unlike to the faith of humans who foster love and peace around the world. In US there are different kinds of Church. There is a church called “One Circle” where different religions are welcome to come and share their philosophical views of life. There is no discrimination of religion who visit this church and there is no need to follow any church ritual. It is just people sharing cultural views and the church encourages diversity. I heard another community is planning to open a naked church for people who enjoy nude recreation in Florida.
US is a country where everyone has the right and there is a price to pay. The Gun culture is due to the fact that every individual has their own rights and one can see the results of the Virginia killing.

The Islam people are also in the path of devotion. If you take Islam the meaning I deduced of Islam is that “Is” means “Ishwara” and Lam in Tibetan language means “Guru”. Islam means God is our Guru. Khuda means manifestation of our selves. “Khud” means self and “A” pronounced as “Ahh” means manifestation of our own selves or in ancient Indian culture known as Vishnu. Khuda is manifested of our selves and even our ancient culture talks on life energies (Vishnu) manifested in our selves, which we are not aware and kriya yoga as one method to take control of our selves by transforming life energies. A small 3% of the so called Islamic population are anti-Islamic and they use Islam to propagate their unpleasant animal nature.

I do not know much on Sufism but there are enlightened Sufi saints who have spread the message of oneness and love among every people and embrass every culture and religion unlike Islam which is strictly only for Muslims.

Our ancient culture of Indus valley unfortunately has been identified as a separate religion in name of Hindu. In fact our culture life was explored in a big way and all our teachings are about the experience of life and beyond. That is the reason our great Gurus have gone in the way of transforming people around the world and never went on converting anyone in to any form of religion. Today’s Indian Politicians are politicising the tradition of Hindu culture in to some belief system and the politicians and masses have no experience of the culture of life and have given themselves in to a belief system like any other religion. Devotion or Bhakthi Yoga in our culture was explored in a more scientific way and the slokas and sutras were recited in a profound manner to foster Bhakti or devotion among the peoples. The same madness of Bhakti movement has destroyed the Hindu culture in to a being a belief system rather than inner science or exploration of inner self.

I feel just by only the path of Devotion if we using our current state of mind we might not attain our ultimate potential. We have to attain other forms of Yoga like Karma, Gyana and Kriya to transform ourselves and not by any conversion of any religion belonging to belief system, but by individual transformation of self. There are only 0.10% of the population who are meditative. If 1 % of the world becomes meditative the world can change in a moment.

Global oneness and invasion of privacy.

We are constantly subject to the dualities of life and we are consciously or unconsciously trying to make the union. We are exchanging information across the globe and world is getting smaller and smaller. In this quest for oneness some of the groups of people who want to be powerful are taking the advantage of technology in invading privacy of people. I am not paranoid but I am sure big brother is watching or trying to watch everyone and invasion of privacy cannot be ruled out. One has to extremely aware of the environment. We might not be sure if a Google Satellite is invading our home or backyard. There is a constant need for information and people instead of stopping their mind in to being meditative are doing havoc of their mind in to illegal activities of invading privacy. Even in India people’s personal life has been invaded by spy cam and camera phone by local mischief mongers. So Privacy is no more respected in countries where laws and constitution not protecting individual respect for privacy.

If one is meditative closing his eyes and guided by a guru he can seek any information around the world via tantric communications. There is no need to invade privacy of person. In Rig-Veda there are constellations described 20,000 years back which can only be viewed by a modern powerful telescope. How did these Rishis who were meditative describe these constellations without any eye vision? One has to take to being meditative and if guided by a proper Guru can explore a different dimension of life which is not in the current perception of mind. So new age Yogis might expand and explore their inner dimensions and discover new worlds and planet where there might be a possibility of another human life and who knows in the next 20 years we might spot a planet far way which is similar to earth and meet new civilization and open another possibility of human expansion.

Seven Wonders of the World in the Eye of a Yogi.

Seven wonders in the eye of the Yogi.

1st Wonder: The primordial source of all creation "Shiva" which is the vast unbounded non-dual oneness and in the unmanifest state of energy. Shiva does not have to be worshipped but he is the very breath of this creation. Modern science has been contemplating that everything comes from nothing and goes back to nothingness. Our culture talked about Shiva 20 to 30 thousand years back and Shiva means "That which is Not" (nothingness). Shiva in yogic culture means that which is NOT. Modern science says everything comes from nothing and goes back to nothing. This state of nothingness is what is referred to as Shiva. ‘Shi’ is the feminine Shakthi which is the very womb of the creation and ‘Va’ is the dampener to the vast ever expanding masculine form of un-manifest energies. Everything in the Yogic culture was described in form of a story. They created a personality around Shiva just to describe the existence as such. Shiva has three states, Rudra, Shiva and Sadashiva. Rudra is the dissolution state, Shiva the state of “I am” the first strand of sound from the unmanifest to manifest and Sadashiva is the state of his blissful meditativeness (unmanifest). Shiva is known as the Adi Yogi or the First Yogi (Guru). Shiva is also known as the Producer and predominatly as the Destroyer. (Shiva as the 1st Wonder).

2nd Wonder: When the unmanifest manifest in to creation (play of five elements), the duality is manifested in to Nature (Parakriti) and Life energies (Aparakriti). The Life energies are the maintenance operator. Whereever there is a creation, there is bound to be life energies. Only when the Life energies sustains in the physical form, life forms begin to evolve. The Life energies as per description in the Vedanta known as Vishnu (Vishnu - Life energies as the 2nd Wonder).

3rd Wonder: The unmanifest manifest itself there is creation - Brahma (play of five elements). Life is play of five energies. Vedanta mention of only one Brahmaan (unmanifest state - Shiva) and from this Brahmaan, Creation emerged which is the manifested form of energies. Brahma is Creation or Creator operator (Brahma - Creation as the 3rd Wonder).

4th Wonder: Being born as a human is the greatest gift and one should not waste the life time opportunity in experiencing this piece of life. Humans have both Animal and Divine nature. Only Humans have the capability of raising his life energies and going beyond the physical and experiencing the non-physical dimensions of life and experiencing creation as part of himself and being the Creator himself. Being a Human Being is the Fourth Wonder. (Human being as 4th Wonder).

5th Wonder: The Yoga is inner science and technology of attaining union and inner wellbeing. Yoga literal meaning is Union. Everything in the existence was one non-dual oneness. When the unmanifest manifested itself in to Creation, what was one has become two. Due to this game of duality there is life and the conscious being seeks union to become one. If you look at life, Life happens to everyone in Selflessness, in Devotion, with Intelligence and with transformation of energies. Similarly there are four disciplines in Yoga. Karma Yoga through Selfless action using Body, Bhakti Yoga through devotion, Gyana Yoga through intelligence and Kriya Yoga through transformation of energies. Yoga is all about aligning your body, mind, emotions and life energies with the non-dual divine. (Being in a State of Yoga as the 5th Wonder)

6th Wonder: The creator has done a great job and with his love has created this beautiful creation planet Earth where we are living. We Humans experience love in limitedness and our love is limited to the physical. We Humans live with the experience of only five senses. Our awareness has not grown beyond these five senses. Once we raise our energies to the peak and our ability to respond is in unboundedness we experience Love (Being in Love with everyone in acceptance as the 6th Wonder)

7th Wonder: Our experience of life is limited to only the physical. Look at the people around the world around. How many happy, cheerful and blissful people do you see beyond the 30 years age? What has gone wrong with them? If one is initiated in Yoga by a Guru and Guru's grace has touched upon them they become automatically blissful and they are in control of their own energies and external situation has no impact on their inner wellbeing. (Being Blissful as the 7th Wonder)

The Yogic Lore of India

India has been a mystic country for centuries and still remains mystic as numerous human fellow beings were initiated in to becoming a realized Yogi. India and neighboring Tibet, have produced realized yogis (sages, siddhas, saints, mystics and spiritual leaders).

Out of emptiness in space you see stars and galaxy forming and finally collapsing to nothingness or emptiness. The primordial source of all creation "Shiva" which is the vast unbounded non-dual oneness and in the unmanifest state of energy. Shiva is referred to as the Adi Yogi or the First Yogi. Rudra is the dissolution, destruction state, Shiva the state of “I am” and Sadashiva is the state of his blissful meditativeness (unmanifest).  Shiva is also known as the Producer and predominatly as the Destroyer. This un-manifested form in modern science has been referred to as Singularity.  The first strand of sound from the unmanifest to manifest is "AUM". It is the truth and not the fact. This has to be experienced.

In the entire existence there is vast non-dual oneness and there are many manifestations of dual and many forms of creation are rooted in duality of nature. Many of the manifestations have resulted in life. At an instance of Brahma (creation operator), life manifested and life is maintained by Vishnu which is a manifestation of life energies in various forms. Due to this duality there is a leela (game). Duality is light and darkness, life and death, masculine and feminine. What was one has manifested in to two. Due to this conflict of duality the conscious being seeks union to become one. The union is two opposites making an attempt to become one and this union is referred to as Yoga.

Yoga is an ancient science of India and it literally means Union. The four realities in yoga are Karma Yoga (Selfless Action) using the Body; Bhakthi Yoga using love, devotions and emotions; Gnana (Intelligence) Yoga using mind, Kriya Yoga (by transforming energies). We as a human being are made up of four components Body, Mind, Emotions and Life Energies. We are subjected to both animal and divine nature. Through Yoga we can bring in a union by aligning our Body, Mind, Emotions and Life Energies with the divine by working with the subtle life energies or Prana. God is our inner self and once we bring in our awareness or consciousness to higher dimensions, we experience god or blissfulness. Yoga is not about twisting your arms and legs in complex position. One has to be initiated in to Yoga by a Guru.

It has been astounding that these countless Yogis were realized due to the power of the Himalayas and in neighboring Tibet and these realized yogis went on initiating yoga and these disciples were enlightened and experienced that dimension of life that was beyond the current state of mind. It is so sad that modern science still do not have any explanation to the miracles and feats achieved by these yogis. One can only come in to higher state of awareness and experience these miracles and feats achieved by these yogis. It is well known fact that the first yoga class was conducted in Kantisovar in Himalayas.

Some of the few realized masters, yogis, mystics and scholars that I remember from the countless are Sri Ramakrishna (1836), Swami Vivekananda, Kabir (1398), Kriya Babaji Nagaraj, Mahavatar Babaji or Shiva Baba(203 AD), Shri Shirdi Sai Baba, Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri (1855-1936), Yogiraj Lahiri Baba(1861), Adi Sankaracharya, Swami Raghavendra Swamy, Jesus Christ, Saint John & Saint Peter etc. Each one of them has been unique in either their scholarly teachings or the miracles they have performed and common man could not fathom the experiences of the divine dimension of these yogis. There has to be a study or thesis conducted on the achievements of these yogis.

There were two great realized yogis Patanjali and Gautama Buddha who imparted the Yoga teachings in absolute clarity. Patanjali delivered the Yoga sutras in its absolute content and he has left nothing for anyone to describe. He also described in detail the Seven Chakras and the 72 thousand nadis. Gautama Siddhartha after his enlightenment was known as Gautama Buddha. Gautama Buddha imparted his yoga teachings in common language known to common folks and attracted so many followers and had enlightened thousand of his disciples. Gautama roamed in absolute nakedness and no one questioned him as to why he was naked. Gautama also described in detail the Seven Chakras and the 72 thousand nadis and his expression of yoga was simply clinical. Gautama talked on attaining mastery of Nadis (energies point) and how to have control on Nadis by practicing various types of pranayama. Gautama even talked about all his previous lifetimes and the kind of person he was and came to a conclusion that he was a single cellular organism (Amoeba) at one time. He talked about Kalpas (Atom) and the 8 Atakalpas (sub-atomic particles) in detail 2500 years ago. He also described in his absolute awareness that we are all living in a virtual world and the world just seems to be there and our perception of reality is just relative. He also described that our body is appearing and disappearing in one millionth of a second.

Krishna was one yogi who was absolutely from a different dimension. The time of Krishna’s birth is still debated if it is 3500 or 5000 years before BC. Scientific evidence proves that he was born around 5000 BC time. There is a school of thought his formless karmic energies were not from this karmic structure and the Rishi Yogis performing powerful yagnas received the his formless karmic energies from a different planet and constellation far away from the earth. Krishna was complete in his realization and performed so many miracles and feats and left everyone spellbound. Krishna had his Sudarshan chakra which was a mystical weapon and it was not any boomerang but it was presumed that the Sudarshan chakra appeared and disappeared in his forefinger.

The culture of Ancient India was so rich and no where in the world life was explored and experienced as it was done in India. There was a mature society and man and women had equal rights and enjoyed all aspects of life together. There was always an ambition of youth in India to be initiated in to Yoga and they would take pilgrimage to Himalayas to be initiated in to Yoga by a Guru. Yoga initiation is a very important to an individual growth and to realize one’s potential and reach that dimension of life which is beyond the perception of current state of mind.

The Art and Bliss of Sexual Union

In the entire existence there is vast non-dual oneness and there are many manifestations of dual and many forms of creation are rooted in duality of nature. Many of the manifestations have resulted in life. Due to this duality there is a leela (game). Duality is light and darkness, life and death, masculine and feminine. What was one has manifested in to two. Due to this conflict of duality the conscious being seeks union to become one. The union is two opposites making an attempt to become one.

The longing to become one, forms expression in many forms of union. Our natural state of mind always seeks union unconsciously. When intelligence is overtaken by hormones and emotions we constantly seek union in form of physical sex and physical love and these pleasures are momentarily, but the union or bliss with the divine is not experienced. When the body, intelligence, emotions and energy are transformed and aligned with the divine we seek union in form of Yoga.

Sexual desire is a biological process and the physical sexual act is a necessity for procreation and survival of the species. The sexual desire is driven mainly by our bodily sex hormones. The method of physical sexual union is hopeless without experiencing the union with divine. Divinity exists everywhere. For the divine to manifest in one self, one has to learn to transcend the struggle of duality beyond the physical limitations and experience the union in higher dimensions and this method of union is what we call Yoga or Spirituality. Two physical bodies cannot become one. They are always two and will always remain two. What can become one is the conscious being or what we call self.

In pre-Vedic times Yoga and Tantra were synonymous. Men and women had equal rights and there was no discrimination and women were in to spirituality and practiced everything that man practiced. Vedic literature or Shruthi underwent lot of changes after the invasion of Mongolians from China and Middle East. Tantra practice was stopped, women were suppressed and Manu Smritis were changed to down play women. Kama sutra was the gift to the world and this was possible only when society was more mature, tolerant and civilized. Brahma Chari, Sages or Aesthetic saints who are not in Grahasthi abstained from sex as they feel the bliss anyway through yoga and these sages consider even body as an external object and associate sex energies with the body and use their inner energies prana to work and attain with the divine. India was also been blessed with the science of astrology and nowhere in the world has astrology been so much explored as it has been done in India.

In these modern times, we are too much identified with the physical body. Sex in the body is beautiful and when it comes to mind it becomes perversion. Sexuality is a measure of physical attributes and spirituality is a measure of our inner nature or attributes of the conscious being. Today’s modern era virginity is condemned and laughed about and the value, sacredness and power of being virgin and the experience of the bliss of virgin sex is only felt and reaped when one is attuned in the state of union or yoga. Virginity is not about losing the hymen; it is about reaping the fruit. That is why our forefathers have been telling us that we remain virgin and wait for the union and the method of union has slowly changed over centuries in form of marriage by reading scriptures mantra and rites rather than means of union or yoga. Marriage is considered union of two individuals who take oath of commitment for being together in union for lifetime. In the current era even astrology has been misused and folks are misguided and horoscope match making has become superstitious and obsolete. A good astrologer can verify the horoscopes and check the compatibility factor of two people who are seeking union in form of marriage and only in awareness we understand the value of Indian Astrology.

When one is in a union with the divine by suppressing sex, one is not using the sex energy to attain union. Sex energy has also to be carefully used and misusing the sex energies without Yoga will result in depression and sadness and one will not be able to attain the Liberation or Nirvana. So when two persons are in yoga or union, sex will be fruitful and bliss of oneness can be easily achieved. So it is very much encouraged that teenagers learn yoga from a renowned guru so that they can become less spontaneous to physical aspects of sex and can plan their sexual quest with experiencing the divine or in a union. The whole method of sexual union has become a hopeless method in the present times.

In Yoga there are only four realities by which we can attain higher states of union. We use by means of our body (Karma yoga) our love, devotion, emotions (Bhakthi Yoga), our intelligence, mind (Jnana Yoga) and by transforming our energies (Kriya Yoga) to attain higher states of Union. In Yoga we use the kundalani energies to move upward from base root chakra to top chakra to attain the union and in Tantric practice of sex we use our body as a Yantra to experience the union of two conscious being. Tantra literally means to weave and is synonymous with Yoga. Mantra is the reverberation of sound, Yantra is the Form associated with the Sound and Tantra is the technology to weave the Sound in to Form. Tantra practice in a way is a big fore play. In Tantra one learns to prolong the act of making love and to channel, rather than dissipate the potent orgasmic energies moving through you, thereby raising the level of your consciousness. These practices were intended to awaken the powerful psychic energies. Tantric practioners make the necessary preparation and it might be even weeks and months of tantric practice before they take time to release themselves in to orgasm or ejaculation and achieve the results of union or bliss. So with means of Yoga and Tantra practice from a realized Guru one can learn the art and experience the bliss and divinity of the sexual union.
